TRANSITION SERIES |
The Transition Series represents the entire 1960 racing season. I have remained faithful to the real races that were run that year which included 9 World Championship races and 6 non-Championship events. As usual, I have ifnored the Indianapolis 500 even though it counted towards the F.1 Championship (for reasons that no logical person could explain!) Also, there was no F.1 German Grand Prix in 1960. The race was run for F.2 cars and the result thereof can be found on the 1960 F.2 results page.
Below you will find the results of all those race. In Championship races the points were awarded on the basis of 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, for the first time, no point was awarded for fastest lap although I still show the fastest lap in the following table of results.
